The Heart Behind the Practice

— A Note from Personally Assist Me

When we first connected with Jill, it was clear she wasn’t just starting a business — she was continuing a calling.

Jill has spent over 26 years working with youth in schools, group homes, and custody facilities. She’s walked alongside kids through some of the toughest chapters of their lives, offering them not just support — but safety, stability, and genuine care. As a Certified and Registered Child and Youth Care Practitioner, her professional background is extensive. But what really stands out is the way she makes young people feel: seen, heard, and understood.

At Personally Assist Me, we’ve had the privilege of guiding Jill through every step of building her private practice, Roots & Resilience. We’ve reviewed her qualifications, helped her structure a care-forward business plan, and witnessed firsthand the heart and dedication she brings to this work. What she’s built isn’t just another counseling space — it’s a warm, sunlit room that feels like a deep breath. It’s a home-based office designed with intention, offering a calm, cozy environment where kids can drop their shoulders and just be themselves.

Jill’s approach is as down-to-earth as it is heart-led. She meets each young person with curiosity, compassion, and the belief that healing begins with connection. Whether she’s working with a teen navigating anxiety, a parent needing guidance, or a family in transition, Jill brings a gentle but grounded presence that makes people feel instantly at ease.

We created Personally Assist Me to highlight professionals exactly like Jill — the kind who lead with integrity, stay rooted in purpose, and put people first. And we’re proud to stand behind the work she’s doing.

If you’re looking for support that feels personal, flexible, and full of heart, Roots & Resilience is a beautiful place to start.

It Starts with a Conversation

What to Expect After Booking

Once you’ve booked your free consultation, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details, including how to join (in-person or online). There’s nothing you need to prepare — just come as you are.

This session is a relaxed conversation where you can:

  • Ask questions about the process

  • Share a bit about what’s going on

  • Get a feel for Jill’s style and approach

If it feels like a good fit, we’ll talk about next steps and scheduling future sessions. If not, that’s totally okay too — this call is just about finding what’s right for you.
